History
In the past 80 years, Kim Pai has grown and evolved alongside Thailand’s society and economy. We take pride in being part of the success in many celebrated products throughout the years. Our long history has brought us valuable experiences, extensive know-how, and the ability to efficiently manufacture packaging products that set the benchmarks of today’s global industry.
- 1932 Kim Pai Jin Tia Heng was established. It started by making playing cards using Lithography printing.
- 1946 Printed currency bills for the Thai Government during the end of World War II.
- 1947 Kim Pai Limited Partnership was established.
- 1969 Established Thai Offset Company to expand offset printing businesses.
- 1971 Started the first Rotogravure printing for flexible packaging in Thailand.
- 1984 Established Thai OPP Public Company as the first OPP film manufacturer in Thailand
- 1985 Established Kim Pai Lamitube Company as the first manufacturer of laminated tubes in Thailand.
- 1992 Partnered with Lion Thailand, Tomoku Japan, and Mitsubishi Thailand to establish Likitomi Company for the manufacturing of paper boxes.
- 2000 LS Pack was established in Vietnam for manufacturing toothpaste tubes.
- 2000 Partnered with Thong Guan Plastic and Paper Industries of Malaysia to establish LA Plaspak for the manufacturing of stretch film and CPP film.
- 2007 Partnered with Commit System Singapore to establish Kim Pai Coating as the first manufacturer Protection Film in Thailand.
- 2011 To better expand our market and utilize all the synergies of our different business units, we have decided to consolidate all our companies under the brand Kim Pai Group.
